Disillusioned

[Warning: a grumpy post. Yes, another one.]

Three facts of life from the ignorant eyes of a first-year undergraduate.

University prestige is supposed to be directly proportional to the ability of the student body. Right.

University students are supposed to be mature, intelligent, and professional. Right.

University is supposed to be an excellent environment for learning. Right.

*Simmering - doing calculus and a practice general chemistry midterm so I'll feel better*

Thank you for your comments...I find them encouraging for some odd reason. And sure, jaded graduate students count (why not?).
