Yesterday, during a problem-solving session, a peer (and fellow teaching assistant for the same class) whom I respect enormously made a comment that made my evening.
She was disgruntled because she made such an effort to mark strictly (she was trying to drive students out of the class so that there will be less papers to mark)...but her contacts in the class complained about my marking, instead. And I was trying to be generous, too.
I love being evil.
