Too Easily Swayed

One particular person in my life is being a bad influence. Dammit! Now I want a Mac.

That particular person has a delightfully powerful desktop. And it's a Mac. (And it's pretty, as Macs tend to be.) When one hears how a unix/linux based machine can do all these computationally neat things...mmm. Dark side, indeed. *Twitch*

It totally doesn't help that my computer is currently misbehaving and that I am frustrated by the limitations of the PCs at school with respect to computational chemistry. Right now, the only way to keep my laptop monitor from flickering like crazy is to clip the edge of the monitor with a foldback clip. (Of course, that's a hardware problem, but...pretty things have a peculiar way of justifying themselves.)

As if in response to me threatening to get a Mac, my laptop now works again. Tch.
