eeee!!! i have one too :) you'll like it.
why the worry about shipping? they package them pretty well.
Not so much worried about the packaging as the delivery - my address is a little weird (think convoluted on-campus addresses, except it's actually off-campus) and I'd be very sad if it got delivered to the wrong place.
