Resume Padding Rant

Disadvantage of being not first-year: aw, I can't pad my resume with high school achievements.

No extracurriculars worth writing about; I can't exactly put my Putnam score on there, you know. And there's no such thing as chemistry contests at the university level, probably because everybody who would write such a thing is too busy working in a lab. Anyway, the content in the IChO Is pretty much university level (second-year or thereabouts, I believe)...

Somewhat belatedly, I am seriously worrying about whether I'll get a job this term. *Sigh*.

On a tangential note: oh no, the Putnam is coming! This December! The horror, the horror! (Which doesn't explain why I still plan to write it...)
